Philip Brittan - Chairman

Philip Brittan grew up on a ranch east of Livingston MT, earned a degree in Computer Science from Harvard, and currently is the general partner at The Innovation Ranch, a tech incubator, venture capital, and accelerator firm focused on the needs of enterprise IT. Prior to founding Innovation Ranch, he was the VP of Engineering for Google Workspace. Prior to Google, he worked for over 30 years as an entrepreneur, CEO, CTO, business leader, innovator, Board member, and adviser. He founded and managed 4 software start-ups, led the fastest growing business unit in Bloomberg, served as CTO and Global Head of Platform for Thomson Reuters, and had an earlier stint at Google heading up Google Finance. Philip is an innovator and an inventor on a number of software patents.

Greg Rogers
Bozeman, MT
Greg is a serial entrepreneur and tech leader, currently serving as senior advisor at Techstars, where he works with the CEO and co-founder to make Techstars better for founders and more closely aligned with startup communities. His last entrepreneurial venture was Graceful, a collaboration tool to organize and safeguard families’ prized content and critical information. Prior to Graceful, Greg was a partner with Techstars, where he led investment operations in 9 cities including NYC, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, and Tel Aviv – generating a portfolio of 200 including Chainalysis, Alloy, Arweave, Novo Bank, Quantive. He has an extensive background in digital advertising, as co-founder of Pictela, which was acquired by AOL.

Dan Rausch
Sioux Falls, SD
Dan is the chief finance & strategy officer and incoming president of Stern Company, a petroleum distribution & consultation partner in the Midwest. He is the former director of investor relations and corporate strategy for NorthWestern Energy where his responsibilities included finding and investing in emerging clean energy and “green” technologies in Montana and across the Western US while overseeing all treasury activities of the company.

Adam Gilbertson, Vice President
Billings, MT
Adam is the Senior Vice President of Field Technology & Innovation at RDO Equipment Co. – one of the nation’s largest distributors of construction and agriculture equipment. His responsibilities there include investigating and integrating new technologies in construction, mining and landfills to include machine learning, unmanned aerial vehicles and machine guidance. He is a former officer in the United States Army, Iraq War Veteran and a 2020/2021 Presidential Leadership Scholar.

Jenni Graff
Executive Director
Jenni is the Executive Director of Scaling Montana, a nonprofit focused on making Montana a premier place for launching and scaling technology companies. A technology enthusiast, she has held growth-oriented roles in startups, multinational corporations, and regional nonprofits spanning industry, government, and academia. She also ventured into entrepreneurship, founding a recruiting agency serving Montana’s tech sector.
As a proud graduate of Montana institutions, Jenni has lived and worked throughout the state, driving new ideas and economic development. She holds an MBA as well as degrees in Communications, Cultural Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Montana.
Committed to promoting Montana-based entrepreneurs nationally, Jenni serves as an Ambassador in the Right to Start Network, working to expand access to entrepreneurial opportunities. She is also on the advisory board for the SXSW Pitch Competition and is a proud member and former president of the Montana Ambassadors.
Jenni is a staunch believer in the power of community, and the human capacity for innovation. She is a tech optimist who finds joy in building a good spreadsheet and taking long walks in the woods.
