Ryan Hansen is a serial entrepreneur with deep roots in Montana’s business ecosystem and a track record of building transformative ventures. He is the founder of LumenAd, a Missoula-based AdTech company recognized by Inc. magazine as the 4th fastest-growing software company. LumenAd’s success led to the creation of Pathlabs, a spinoff advertising services company that recently achieved a nine-figure exit through its acquisition by MiQ, one of the largest programmatic media agencies globally. Hansen’s ability to identify opportunities and scale innovative businesses has established him as a prominent figure in the AdTech space.
Currently, Hansen is channeling his expertise into LedgerAI, a cutting-edge venture he co-founded to leverage artificial intelligence in streamlining back-office operations for small and medium-sized businesses. By applying advanced technology to everyday operational challenges, LedgerAI aims to empower SMBs to focus on growth and innovation. This new endeavor reflects Hansen’s ongoing commitment to solving real-world problems through technology and entrepreneurship.
Hansen’s entrepreneurial journey is deeply rooted in his connection to Montana. Originally from Rapid City, South Dakota, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2009 and an MBA in 2016 from the University of Montana. During his time at the University, he received mentorship and support that shaped his vision for LumenAd, with the University itself becoming one of his first clients. This foundation of community and innovation has fueled Hansen’s success and continues to influence his approach to building ventures that blend cutting-edge solutions with meaningful impact.
